What is the purpose of the Annual Fund Drive (AFD)?
The Annual Fund Drive supports the mission and vision of Chaminade-Madonna, as well as our commitment to offering merit and need based aid. This year, more than ever, our drive will focus on tuition assistance for students who would otherwise be unable to attend Chaminade-Madonna. Your contribution will make it possible for deserving students to benefit from the educational, spiritual and interpersonal opportunities Chaminade-Madonna offers.
How Can I help?
Today's realities make it difficult for many families to afford tuition costs. Chaminade-Madonna is committed to raising the funds needed to provide a quality Marianist education to every qualified student who wants to attend this Blue Ribbon school. You can help make the dream of a Catholic education come true, continuing our legacy of service to others "Toward a Better World."
What amount should I give?
We know that you will be as generous as possible, and we appreciate all levels of support for the 2009-2010 Annual Fund Drive. Please consider one of the suggested giving levels.
Why is my contribution so important?
C-M pursues grants from various foundations and institutions, and those entities always look toward the percentage of parents and alumni who donate to the Annual Fund. The higher the percentage, the greater chance that grants will be given because it is evident that there is strong support within the community for the fulfillment of the school's mission.
Does Chaminade-Madonna qualify for matching gifts?
Yes! There are nearly 500 companies who now match gifts to Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory. If you would like to research companies that provide matching gifts, the Matching Gift Network case.hepdata.com povides information about more than 15,000 companies and subsidiaries.
In most cases, gifts will be matched for employees, spouses and retired employees on at least a 1:1 basis. Please check with your human resources office to see if your company will match your gift to the 2009-2010 Annual Fund Drive.
