2010 Varsity Cheerleaders Earn Bid to Nationals
C-M 2010 Varsity Cheerleaders attended the Fellowship of Christian Cheerleaders (FCC) Camp this summer. During the four day skill and technique camp the team was evaluated on several performances, earning excellent and superior ratings. They excelled in cheerleading motions, jumps, stunts and dances taught during the camp.
Elizabeth Legault and Samantha Musgrave competed in the individual tumbling competition. Olivia Courtney competed in the individual jump competition. Brianna Hazzi, Elizabeth Legault, Rachel Rodriguez and Flyer, Carly Wachholder won the stunting technique competition.
Cheerleaders Samantha Musgrave, Elizabeth Legault and Jackie Fernandez were named to the All-Star Cheerleading Team selected by the camp staff, and were awarded patches for their all around achievement in technique and skills taught during the week.
On the final day of camp the team was awarded the Spirit Stick, a Superior rating and received a nomination to compete in the camp Championship where they placed 1st in the Varsity Cheer Division, earning them a bid to the National Championship to be held in December, 2010!
